Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We are looking for a Design Engineer (Electronics) to join our talented HW development team at ABB Oy, Medium Voltage Products unit in Vaasa. You will be working in R&D, developing measurement electronics. You will be involved in every stage of the design process, from product requirements to final testing in production, working in collaboration with other functions. Requirements • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electronics engineering and a few years of experience as a designer • A strong background in measurement techniques, analog signal conditioning and transducers • Experience in embedded electronics and electrical engineering • An understanding of EMC design rules • Experience with electronics design and simulation tools (e.g. Cadence, PADS) • Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish Ideally, you have • Good problem-solving and teamwork skills • Drive and persistence, with the ability to focus on details and quality
