International Sales and Product Specialist
We are a well established and globally known high value, low volume capital equipment manufacturer based in Hertfordshire. Due to continued increasing demand for our sophisticated technologies, we now require a Sales and Product Specialist who will travel both within the UK and globally to see our service and sales centres and educate their Sales Representatives on our products. The Sales/Product Specialist will also often be required to accompany the Sales Representatives on customer visits to sell the benefits of our technologies. We invite applications from candidates with a strong Sales bias gained within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. Experience within FMCG would be beneficial but more importantly is a strong Technical/Engineering aptitude coupled with Sales experience.
International Sales and Product Specialist
* Become an expert in our technology through extensive training
* Work cohesively with the Field Sales Managers across the business to share knowledge and help leverage success.
* Attend customer meetings with the Sales Team to offer technical support
* Provide consistent mentoring to the Sales Teams in relation to our technology
* Maintain relationships with customers and be the "go-to" person within the business for technical support on our product range
* Inspire relationship building between the sales divisions and the product development divisions of our business and have a sound working knowledge of both entities.
* Develop, document and maintain market knowledge in order to develop joint marketing strategies and build sales growth.
* Build competitor knowledge and feed back to Internal Sales team to assist with sales tools
* Maintain an overview of the service issues and ensure they are being progressed to closure
* Progress new orders through the sales process
* Work with Sales Divisions to develop end-market opportunities
* Contribute to product testing and reporting for the territories covered
* Support the Sales team with achieving their budgets by offering expert advice on our products and selling the best solution possible.
