Systems Validation, Test and Analysis Directorate (SVTAD) is the central focus for all integration, verification and validation (IV&V) activities within IDS. Over 700 employees of SVTAD provide their expertise to ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive IV&V strategies, processes, tools and techniques. SVTAD employees are involved in all aspects of IV&V including: design-for-test, integration, subsystem and component level testing through sell-off of IDS ’ most sophisticated systems and technologies.
Opportunities currently exist within SVTAD's Air Defense Systems Department in Andover, Massachusetts. The Air Defense Systems Department (ADS) provides expertise in the integration, validation, and sell off for various air defense programs within IDS. ADS Engineers are involved in all aspects of the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) cycle. ADS engineers have ownership authority to ensure that individual items are integrated and perform as expected as well as ensuring that the system can be sold off. Most system tests will be conducted in the ADS Department’s HWIL facilities. These facilities include integrated tactical hardware, simulated, and emulated software for data collection to verify the systems capabilities and support the ultimate sell off of the System. ADS supports the PATRIOT and NASAMS family of programs.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Oman GBADS Program Office, the Engineering lead will be responsible for the management oversight and execution of both testing and integration in Norway. This scope includes:
· Planning and executing Systems Integration and Checkout (SICO) OCONUS in both Norway and in Oman
· Responsibility of Sell-Off activities with subcontractor as well as with the Customer.
· Responsible for the successful execution of NASAMS integration activities.
· Interfacing with the customer and subcontractors to coordinate the combined engineering teams, supporting the investigation of trouble reports related to the integrated tactical and simulation systems.
· Technical review of subcontractor proposals, engineering change proposals, change notifications, and statement of work documents.
Available for an international assignment for a minimum of one year.
This position can be a G10 or a G11 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position.
Required Skills:
Eight (8)+ years related experience
Prior project/product team lead experience (called IPT in Raytheon)
· Current DOD Secret security clearance or higher
Desired Skills:
Professional experience in large scale weapon system development in any two of the following areas; IPT/CPT leadership, technical project management, execution of lab-based integration or verification, execution of field-based integration or verification
· Highly motivated “self-starter” with strong technical skills, and capable of working well within multifaceted teams or at times autonomously.
· Detail oriented with excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
· Experience integrating, testing, verification, and validation of the different elements of an Air and Missile Defense System
· Experience with NASAMS, AN/MPQ-64F1 Sentinel Radar, and/or AIM-120 AMRAAM integration and test.
· Hands-on hardware experience
· Experience conducting integration with an associate contractor or external partner
· Demonstrated customer relationship skills
· Fluency in a Scandinavian language
· Master’s degree
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Applied Physics or equivalent US Military degree
