As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Sales Consulting Manager / Team Lead for SCC Solutions EPM Team
Pre-sales is a critical function in Oracle. Through a combination of product expertise, IT knowledge and communication and sales skills it is the job of the presales consultant to convince the customer that Oracle is the best solution for their business problem.
The Sales Consulting Centers – Solutions (SCC) is tasked to support the EMEA & APAC field pre-sales organisations in a diverse number of ways. Ranging from answering to tenders, customising demos, building prototypes to directly supporting partners and/or customers with specific requests.
The solution consultants of the SCC Solutions are individuals who are willing to take on the challenge of building excellent product knowledge and to combine this with a good commercial sense, clear communication while working in an international environment.
We currently have an opening for an EPM Manager/Team Lead based in Bucharest.

THE JOB:
The SCC EPM Manager/Team Lead reports to the SCC EPM Lead and has the following responsibilities:
Leads the development and day-to-day management of the (mostly recently recruited) EPM Presales team based in Bucharest
Manages and resources the day to day inflow of requests together with colleagues in the SCC, based on availability, skills and other criteria
Collaborates with other members of the SCC (staff, team leads and management) across multiple locations.
Acts as a mentor and coach to members of the team in various tasks, provides quality assurance on deliverables, act as the lead Solution Consultant in certain projects.
Leads various SCC/Presales initiatives, like the creation of new presales services, reusables, etc.
Acts as contact point for the EPM field Solution Consulting management to discuss team skills, availability, services/activities and new projects.
Monitors progress of activities, signals potential issues and guards customer satisfaction concerning the team’s deliverables.
Takes ownership in the hiring process of new staff member and is responsible for the induction of new staff members.
Develops key talent and manages performance.
Supports the creation of training plans for new and existing staff, maintains a good overview of skills available in the various teams.
Supports administrative processes in the SCC and monitors associated KPIs.
Profile:
To fulfill the role of EPM Presales team lead we are looking for individuals that match the following profile:
Technical:
Demonstrate a clear understanding of Oracle products (particularly EPM portfolio) and services and how they can apply to specific customer situations.
Supports management practices including: Business Performance Management (e.g. Objectives and KPIs, Service Level Agreements), People Management (performance management, career development, retention of key staff).
Sound knowledge of Financials domain and working experience with EPM and/or Financials solutions
Good understanding of the IT market & trends.
The ability to quickly understand customer/project requirements by asking the right questions and to translate these requirements into concrete project deliverables
The ability to provide leadership in the change of organizational culture.
Consistent proven leadership skills in a managerial or non-managerial position.
Non Technical:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written! You are able to not only understand complex technologies but also to explain to others in clear and simple terms. You can articulate key messages very clearly.
Self-confidence, you are comfortable to discuss project requirements with (senior) colleagues and managers in the field. As well as provide guidance to individuals in the team.
