EpiserverSenior Technical Project Manager - Stockholm, Sweden Episerver’s Education Services offers in-depth technical and administrative expertise in order to maximize our customers’ value of the Episerver product portfolio. Whether for developers, administrators or end users our education services have courses that will support the everyday use of Episerver’s products. In close cooperation with the Episerver Product Directors and R&D team we develop and facilitate new training programs and issue Exam Certifications that are in line with our product development. During 2016 we educated more than 3.500 individuals worldwide and we predict that the supply and demand for our education will continue to grow throughout 2017. Thus, we are now seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager whom will be responsible for managing and leading the implementation of the LMS solution and building up the eLearning platform. The Role The position as Senior Technical Project Manager is definitely dynamic and includes for example responsibilities for an international project team located worldwide, why we prefer that you have experience working in a global environment and managing a team via online tools. Your responsibility will be to manage one of the most important project this year and beyond – “The Digital Learning Experience” – to make training available for all Episerver customers, partners and employees worldwide. You are also expected to take on new technologies that Episerver has and may acquire from time to time. You will need to work closely together with your team to achieve the goals and as a leader you are expected to set a culture of trust within your team where Episerver values – dependable, simple and collaborative are important factors. Your primary focus is the day-to-day delivery within the timeframe and scope of the Project and to reach goals. Depending on your background, part of your tasks will be to deliver Episerver Training courses when required. Responsibilities Lead and manage the LMS project “The Digital Learning Experience”; implementation, integration, deployment and value realization Work closely with the eLearning Instructional Designer and Course Owners as well as Project Team Members outside the Education Services Team such as subject matter experts i.e. development team, products team, product marketing, sales operations etc. to leverage core content and build effective learning programs. Work in line with Company values, goals and product development. The proven ability to work independently to manage projects is required. Be the Education Services Digital Learning Experience Ambassador Deliver Courses occasionally Project Management The Project Manager defines scope and goals of a particular project. The project manager may have to run more than one project simultaneously but should see to it that all the projects are smooth sailing. The goals must support business goals. The Project Manager identifies project resources such as people, materials and budget. The Project Manager defines communication strategy. The duties of the project manager also involve developing and maintaining pleasant relationships with customers, partners and team members. The Project Manager builds up a timeline for each phase of the project. The Project Manager should have the ability to stimulate and persuade them to put in all their hard work to complete certain tasks successfully in a specific period of time. The Project Manager recognizes factors to success. When the project, or a phase of a project is done, the project manager should conduct a meeting with the team members to assess the project/phase and to talk about the outcome. Your skill set and qualifications Must possess strong leadership, customer service, organizational and economic skills Experience in a leadership role and as a coach and / or training facilitator preferred Broad IT knowledge including general understanding of responsibilities performed by IT teams, e.g. business analysts, application development, infrastructure teams, etc. Minimum of 3 years education and eLearning experience Base technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies including NET framework, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, XML, and SQL Server. Experience of developing in the Episerver´s platforms is of merit. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, SCORM and e-commerce Competency in adapting to changing environments and ambiguous situations Excellent communication skills in a global environment and proficiency in Swedish and English Ability to work in an independent and team environment.
