Job Background
The Stats Programmer will provide statistical programming support in the project specific programming of statistical tables, listings, and analysis datasets for clinical trials in accordance with Chiltern and/or sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or study specific guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform data manipulation techniques and implement basic macro language to facilitate listing and table generation and verification
- Analyze information and suggest solutions to programming and data analysis challenges
- Efficiently produce quality results under time constraints
- Interact effectively and cooperatively with other members of the department
- Successfully coordinate multiple priorities
- Develop, maintain, and produce statistical programs used in creating analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures based on provided specifications (e.g., annotated CRF, derived dataset specifications, and statistical analysis plan)
- Develop and maintain documentation of analysis dataset, table, listing, and figure verification
- Provide support and/or coordination of well-defined programming projects or portions of programming projects
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks by actively adapting and adjusting priorities
- Maintain awareness of project budgets
- Perform other duties as required by the Department
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or higher in Biostatistics, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Experience with SAS statistical software
Knowledge of one or more statistical software packages (SAS® preferred) used to conduct statistical analyses
Good verbal and written communication
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute in a team setting
Additional Information:
• This is a permanent, full time office or home based role based in Poland or CEE countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine)
