Microsoft Strategic and Technical Sales
In strategic and technical sales, it is important to work out individual benefits and to demonstrate that the use of IT solutions has a direct impact on the customer's corporate objectives and why an investment is expected.
Against this backdrop, you are looking at the German and possibly also international locations of our customers and are orchestrating the internationally active Microsoft colleagues. Their goal is to position themselves as a "trusted advisor" on the subject of IT strategy, to promote the cloud strategy and utilization, and thereby initiate and support change processes at the customer.
In particular, you are an important point of contact for the departments, business development managers and IT decision-makers of the customer, if you explain the Microsoft strategies, provide pre-sales support and work together with the customer, global management as well as specialists, Partner and service teams to develop a customer-specific digital vision.
Your daily challenges:
• At the same time, they are a change engine and a technical conscience, they develop enterprise IT architectures and visions based on Microsoft technologies.
• Take on a central role in the sales process, as well as control the technical pre-sales resources of Microsoft and partners.
• You are holistically responsible for all technical aspects during the sales and implementation phase and accompany the customer in the process of change.
• Actively assist customers in the advancement of cloud services and the cloud strategy and promote their use. Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) know-how continue to form the basis for new business scenarios.
• Maintain intensive customer relationships right up to top management and are closely interlinked with customer strategy, development and innovation.
Your profile:
• Exceptional knowledge of enterprise architecture and IT strategy combined with multi-year experience in the cloud, infrastructure and application environment.
• Innovation and change management experience.
• The ability to build strong customer relationships at CxO level and develop customer-driven customer solutions.
• Profound industry knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering including business, industrial and IT processes.
