Job Description
For testing future control and regulation systems, our customers use dSPACE hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulators. These systems are used in automotive electronics, eg in the passenger car, commercial vehicle, racing and off-highway sectors. As an application engineer you are responsible for the setup, commissioning and support of the HIL simulators and deal with hardware and software as well as simulation and vehicle technology in this context. They work closely with the specialist departments of our local customers.

Your tasks:
Design, set-up and commissioning of customer-specific hardware-in-the-loop systems (hardware and software, IO programming, sensor and actuator simulation)
Development of real-time models for hardware-in-the-loop simulation, eg in the area of ??electrical machines, vehicle technology, residual bus simulation (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
Development in the field of test automation

Your profile:
Studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable courses of studies (university / FH)
Experience in one or more of the following areas: real-time simulation, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, design and realization of digital control systems, electrical machines, FPGA, hardware programming (microcontrollers, C), automotive bus systems (CAN, Lin, FlexRay)
Excellent service orientation
Very good German and English language skills
