For our Construction standards and Specialists team within the offshore market unit, we are looking for a Construction Specialist with process development experience from technical environments, preferably within offshore energy sector. As a Construction Specialist you will be overall responsible for driving standardization projects in offshore construction activities through development and implementation of Construction Standards. You will be responsible for high profiled assignments with both large and small scope involving broad organizational corporation and a complex stakeholder landscape. Results to be achieved in the job are delivery of projects on time, within budget and in top quality considering that the projects most often involve complex stakeholder interfaces. What are my responsibilities? As part of an engaged team of construction specialists, you will actively contribute to moving standardization of construction activities to the next level, supporting Siemens Wind Power’s efforts to standardize planning and installation processes You will lead and be responsible for the development and implementation of documentation, ensuring standardization of offshore construction activities You will conduct internal process mapping related to planning, preassembly and construction activities You will be responsible for setting the scope and budget in collaboration with the internal sponsor to secure your delivery within the agreed framework You will carry out scenario analyses and evaluate on minimum requirements, best practice and commercial impact of process changes You will secure and support implementation of new standards into customer projects and the offshore organization Collect feedback and lessons learned in your area of responsibility and secure continuous improvement of established standards Support and guide the project teams and organization with standardized construction solutions Ensure standards are developed and documented in compliance with standardization strategy in the Construction Standards and Specialists team and contribute to development of the processes and strategy within the team What do I need to qualify for this job? You hold a relevant educational background, e.g. Civil engineer, Process Engineer, Construction Engineer or similar. Preferably you are familiar with offshore construction and maritime operations in the wind industry. Project management experience is an advantage You have experience in process development and process improvement and you are capable of managing a complex stakeholder landscape and facilitate development of solutions on behalf of the organization, with a high level of consensus You have solid project management experience and implementation management skills You are capable of continuously maintaining a clear overview of progress on all activities under your responsibility You have a hands-on approach and hold a clear view on downstream impact across the full range of ongoing & planned activities You have outstanding stakeholder management skills, excellent communication and presentation skills and hold a strong customer mindset You possess excellent intercultural competences and are able to work with both managers and specialists You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
