In this context, the Consulting and Training team is hiring a Consultant to work hands-on with customers to implement SWIFT solutions and SWIFT products, and to provide training and services.

The Consulting Services team is hiring a Lead Financial Services Industry Consultant to perform consulting projects with SWIFT's external customers.
SWIFT provides a range of business, technical and project related consultancy services across SWIFT's customer base. These consultancy engagements aim at helping our customers to improve their operational efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate operational risk.
The Lead Financial Services Industry Consultant that we are looking for will mainly perform technical consultancy services with a focus on security and technical infrastructures operations.
He/She will join our fast-growing enthusiastic team of dedicated consultants in the Consulting Services core team.

Additionally, the team members are responsible for the delivery of Training and other Advisory Consulting Services (including Business, Security, Technical, etc.) contracted by EMEA clients. Such delivery must be coordinated and executed by a shared pool of resources in the EMEA and KL service teams, other specialists (eg. Business Intelligence and Compliance portfolio), along with our network of delivery contractors.

Your responsibilities will be to:
Hold scoping meetings with our customers and articulate clearly the areas of work, deliverables value and expected cost of the consulting services engagement
Perform on-site and desk analysis of security and/or technical operations with a focus on highlighting areas for improvements both in messaging, process and applications.
Prepare underlying documentation and supporting business/technical flows, and deliver high-level presentations.
Articulate objective, relevant and accurate recommendations for the customer to make operational improvements.
Identify potential business opportunities for SWIFT within the area covered by the team
When working as a project manager for a consulting engagement, you will be responsible to compile a dedicated team and coordinate its work during customer engagement and ensure that the output of the team is of the highest standard.
Qualifications:
University degree in Economics, Financial Services or Computer Science, electronic engineering or equivalent.
Excellent English, both written and spoken, is required. Fluent in a second major European language. Any other language is an asset.
Excellent analytical, communication and customer relationships skills
Approximately 5 - 10 years experience, preferably in the industry.
Must have business knowledge in financial markets and a good background in IT/Systems/Interfaces.
Knowledge of SWIFT standards, solutions and messaging services is a must. Good knowledge on main payment, securities and treasury applications.
Flexible team player willing to travel up to 25% of his/her time. Good project management skills to keep his/her projects on budget and schedule and maintain the required
