Job Description
We are looking for someone with a strong software background, who will participate in:
Development of analysis tooling; to take the raw output data of various defect-inspection tools and crunch these into results that can be used to further optimize the ASML-scanner;
Development of simulation models. Simulate how specific ASML-scanner behaviour can lead to defects;
Support other departments in ASML in using the tooling made;
Give input based on the outcome of the models for development of new tests/ software/ hardware.
This work will be in a dynamic environment; both on the topics that need to be worked on and the boundary conditions are changing often. Linking macro-scale items (for example air/ water flows) to nano-scale defects (particles, droplets) has proven to be challenging.
You will participate in defectivity projects that are responsible for the qualification of the scanner performance during the system integration phase and will be supporting manufacturing and customer support. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams, together with other projects responsible for hardware and software modules, system engineering and marketing. You will need imagination and creativity, as well as analytical skills to drive defectivity qualification and trouble-shooting in case of deviations.
You need to be assertive while also being a team player and build on the knowledge and help from other specialists within the ASML community.
