For our Offshore Market Unit we are looking for an EHS Tender & Planning Manager to provide EHS related advice and support in regards to "Safety in Design". You will be responsible for producing safety studies and documentation in relation of the WTG design, construction and operation in Sales and Project Design phases. What is more, you will be involved in evaluation of other wind industry relevant technologies from Safety perspective.
What are my responsibilities?
As an EHS Tender & Planning Manager, you should be promoting our mission to external and internal stakeholders of world class EHS and foster a culture where EHS is an integrated part of our designs and technical documentation in project Sales and Design phases.
This position requires approximately 50 traveling days per year.
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
Responding to technical queries from Sales and reviewing the customer requirements relating to product safety and supporting negotiations
Preparation of EHS Schedule related to the turbine (EHS contract part with customer)
Supporting EHS due diligence and various EHS workshops on our products towards customers and authorities
Liaison with engineering design teams, including PLM (Product Line Management), to ensure customer EHS related requests are handled
Review customer EHS related product documentation for Sales phase
From safety perspective, evaluation of new/ emerging technologies in wind industry
Reviewing project specific Design Risk Assessments before EHS Manager in Project (EMiP) assignment
Production and maintenance of safety analysis, assessments and related safety documentation for projects until handover to execution EMiP
What do I need to qualify for this job?
You preferably hold a Bachelor or Masters Degree in engineering or other technical disciplines but other technical skills, knowledge and experience will be considered. EHS/ Product Safety related education is an advantage (e.g. safety engineering, machinery safety, reliability engineering)
Experience from Construction/ Engineering Industry or other related high risk industry, preferably from the Offshore Wind Industry
Solid experience with operational EHS and knowledge of domestic and international EHS legislation such as the Machinery Directive/ CE Marking, Pressure Equipment Directive, LV Electrical Directive etc. and other industry specific standards such as EN 50308
Experience in qualitative and quantitative risk evaluation and assessment methodologies.
Detailed understanding of HAZID
Experience in negotiations, multi-contracting in large projects and an appreciation of how contracts are inter-related and dependent with highly professional Customers - highly desirable
IT literacy is essential with familiarity in using software such as Design review, Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) and also document storage system such as SharePoint
