If so, apply to the Financial Analyst – Accounts Receivable at Georgia-Pacific! In this role you will be reporting to the Sr. Accounts Receivable Portfolio Manager.
Responsibilities:
Drive value-added initiatives with working capital and other financial metrics
Guide and recommend actions for cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques
Provide recommendations to improve financial status by analyzing results, variances, and trends
Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements
Provide value-added reporting & analysis for consumer business customer portfolios
Partner with other company businesses to achieve desired collections results
Provide solution-based information to internal and external customers
Investigate changes in customer payment behavior and identify write-off risks
Support and advise a team of third-party collectors Supporting, managing and providing reporting & analysis for customer portfolios
Supporting and advising a team of third-party collectors remotely
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
At least 2 years of Financial experience
At least 2 years of Excel experience (e.g., Vlookups, pivot tables, linking spreadsheets, macros, formulas)
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable/ Collections or similar experience
Experience with large ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Experience capturing and creating reporting
Experience in manufacturing
