Description
Principal Objective of the Job:
• Coordination of the closing process (Local team, O and T, FRO, Product Control) for a timely and accurate financial reporting to Citibank Head Office (US gaap) for Portuguese Corporate entities.
• Coordination of the overall Transfer pricing reporting in country (ICSAs, annual review, TP reports in coordination with FRO)
• Support CFO on the outlook and budget process for above entities
• Audit support (IA, KPMG, Tax audits, Central Bank)
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for closing process for all monthly/quarterly US reporting for Portuguese entities
• Preparation of control files for above entities
• Account Ownership of month end balances
• Coordination of the overall TP reporting in country (APS understanding, GRA revenues, ICSAs review, annual reconciliation, as well as annual TP reports) for all Portuguese entities.
• Monthly Reconciliation of Local books vs US books by analyzing/justifying differences
• Monthly Reconciliation of Local books vs Management books by analyzing / justifying differences
• Involvement in any external (KPMG, Tax, Central Bank) and internal (IA) audit.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical thinking. Should be able to pay attention to detail, set priorities and work under pressure.
• Deep understanding of accounting, familiarity with the banks systems an advantage
• Excel
• Understanding of Tax matters
Experience and Training:
• Strong Financial experience
• Tax compliance experience
• University degree in Economics or business administration.
• 3 years experience in bank sector US gaap knowledge will be highly valued.

In house Ops, Risk, Product control, Business, as well as several
Languages:
Portuguese
Spanish
English
