Job Description
Your main tasks include:
Conceptual design and systems engineering of mission systems and architectures for manned and unmanned flying platforms, especially by:
Identification, description and evaluation of their requirements based on customer requirements
Design, prototyping and evaluation of concepts
Realization and validation of software tools for the evaluation of the system properties
Conception, prototypical implementation and documentation of corresponding simulations (HILS, SILS) and development tools
Continuous development of the demonstration environment
Continuous technology development
Planning and carrying out demonstrations and test campaigns to demonstrate the technological achievements achieved
Responsible handling of work packages and coordination with the participating departments
Documentation of the demonstration environment in report form
Documentation and presentation of the results before internal and external customers
Required skills
You have the following knowledge and qualifications:
Completed degree in engineering / information technology or comparable
Interpretation of mission system architectures and their subsystem components
System engineering for avionics and mission systems
Design and development of system architectures for complex, distributed IT systems and communication middleware desirable in robotics, artificial intelligence and planning
Good knowledge of Unix, Linux (including scripting) and embedded systems
Good programming skills in Java, C / C ++, Python, Fortran 77/95 including source code generation
Good understanding of development processes and methods
System comprehension and holistic thinking
Good skills in communicating complex technical issues between customers, professionals and developers
Reliable and high teamwork
Fluency in German and English
