Are you an experienced General Manager with a history of successfully managing a Scaffold Contracting business servicing Commercial, Residential and Industrial Construction, Refurbishment and Regeneration works? Are you looking for an opportunity to lead a successful Business Unit within a Bluechip PLC? Then a role within a Market leading £4bn Contractor could be for you.
In this newly created position, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Leader to take responsibility and accountability for the overall performance and development a thriving Business Unit. Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for delivering first class solutions whilst promoting a Target Zero Culture throughout the Business.
Your duties will include:
Providing effective leadership by promoting the highest standard of business practice, company culture, values and ethics.
Developing company Policy and Strategy to meet the needs of its stakeholders.
Developing Business Plans for your business unit, updating as appropriate.
Developing growth and positioning strategy for the Access Markets.
Manage P&L budget.
Implementing and communicating Management systems and processes throughout the business, including Health and Safety, Quality and Environment.
Developing long term relationships with clients.
Ensuring staffing levels are met, including future needs.
Ensuring that risks to the business are properly reviewed and appropriately controlled.
