Job Description
Management/leadership: manage team, leadership, proper staffing of the group and a productive working environment to ensure the desired level of drive and flexibility. Dividing the tasks within the team, prioritizing, taking responsibility for the correct and timely fulfillment of all tasks, solving problems. Takes the lead in case of extreme escalations, protects the team. Manage the workload, set priorities and assure timely and correct execution of all department tasks, solve bottle necks. Manage skill level and training so FLTS can solve all issue’s independent without escalation.
Member staff FLTS: capacity planning, roadmap, KPI, evaluation, policy, etc.
New Product Introduction: participant in the release for Volume, including the data- and know how transfers. Participating in pilot activities, in order to extend knowledge on new machine types.
Planning/Output: managing and implementation of production support in detail and, within the framework of the Production Plan and the capacity available, taking the necessary flexibility into account, the agreed quality, and the guarantee of delivery (reliability of delivery). Solving problems and prioritizing. Informing all those involved of changes and compiling recovery plans.
Analysis and reporting: direct the process of analyzing the production support processes on effectiveness and efficiency, in order to: deliver management information, KPI, indicate structural problems, enhance the predictability of problems and how to avoid them. Explains and communicates with customers about technical subjects.
Improvement: ensure proposing and attuning of improvements. Making proposals for the improvement of not only the products but also the processes. Lead improvement projects and 8D’s. Evaluate the effects of these actions/improvements.
Cooperation: Manage the cooperation and harmony within the group and between the different departments by giving support, motivating employees, finding solutions and sharing information.
Competency leader: VIS has 9 technical competencies to ensure in depth knowledge. These competencies have one of the GL’s as leader. Main task: Responsible for capacity flexibility and knowledge management within competence, solving time reduction, issue resolution including upstream quality and way of working.
