Job Description
As group leader user interface and simulation, you lead a group of experienced software developers who are concerned with the further development and maintenance of our dSPACE product TargetLink ® . Based on a model-based, graphical functional description in MATLAB ® / Simulink ® , this is the market leader in this field, which is an ANSI / ISO C code for automotive ECUs. Our worldwide customer base expects the highest quality and the fulfillment of relevant safety standards. Consistent work according to well-defined development processes (Automotive SPICE) is self-evident for us.
Their group is mainly responsible for the user interface of the product and the development of a simulation environment, which allows users to secure the generated software components.
Your tasks:
Technical and disciplinary leadership of a group of experienced development engineers. These include, among other things, the involvement in the recruitment of new employees, the assessment and development of staff, and resource planning for the development projects
Support the quality manager in implementing and controlling development processes and participating in their optimization
Participation in technical questions concerning the product components responsible for the group
Support of the project leader in development projects as well as independent management of concept projects
Support of the system architect in software design and the introduction of new technologies
Close collaboration with other departments of the department, with other development departments and with product management
Your profile:
Computer science, engineering, or other technical and natural sciences
Several years of experience in the development of sophisticated software for technical applications
First experience in personnel management as team or group leader desirable
Cooperative leadership style, excellent communication and team skills
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Software engineering
Current Development Methods (V-Modell, SCRUM), and tools (OO, C # / C ++, UML, Design Pattern)
(GUI) development in .NET or MATLAB
Mathematical or graphical modeling and simulation tools (MATLAB / Simulink, UML, Modelica, Mathematica, Maple)
Automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, MISRA
Automobile electronics
Self-responsible, goal-oriented and structured way of working
Safe appearance, conviction and enthusiasm
Very good spoken and written English
