As a Process Engineer - Trainee you will be integrated in a highly motivated team and work together with colleagues from our production and development sites in Asia and Europe.
In your new role you will:
Act self-responsible while evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, maintain reliability and develop best practices within the production process.
Act self-responsible while keeping an eye on our processes to bring them to the next level regarding stability, cost optimization and reliability.
Generate ideas and solutions together with different experts in a production department e.g. Maintenance, Integration or Quality.
Work in different functional areas.
Compare notes with your dedicated mentor regularly.
Develop your intercultural competencies and deepen your knowledge of our international business.
Have a stay in Asia which is part of the program.
Profile
You make the impossible possible. You don’t wait for the silver platter. You love change (which is guaranteed in the semiconductor industry). You are pragmatic and analytic (we need both at Infineon). Standing still is not your thing and you find inspiration in working on the big picture with your colleagues.
You are best equipped for this task if:
You have a degree in Microsystems Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or in a related field.
You gathered already first practical experience e.g. from university, internships or voluntary work.
You have experience abroad (it is highly appreciated).
You demonstrate your strength in analysing complex problems and while working in teams with variable formation, you take it for granted to boost the group and to find the best solution with the team members.
You speak fluent German and English.
