Role Description:
As the Manufacturing Plant IT/OT Leader you will act as the CIO for the Budapest and Gyongyos Manufacturing Plant which you manage with accountability to the Plant manager and reporting to IT/OT Region/Hub leader. You will oversee all IT and OT (Operational Technology – run the machines) operations in the plant.
You will have ultimate accountability to ensure that there plant is Always on, Compliant, Secure, and Ready for digitization. You will ensure that business operations SLAs are met and that unplanned downtimes do not occur. You will own the E2E IT Master Plans and Portfolio for the sites to ensure that system resiliencies are continually being improved and ready for digitization to drive productivity and scale. You will have accountability to drive innovation via IT capabilities by connecting what is needed with what is possible at their site and integrate into the digital strategy for manufacturing and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant lead team member - engaging manufacturing/supply chain leadership on IT/OT strategies & projects
- Govern of HP E2E Site Operations resource
- Operations & IT/OT Compliance Governance
- Manage Escalations for IT/OT Issues & all Global Business Services at Plant
- Own IT Master Plan in cooperation with Site Digital Champion
- IT Budget Management & Invoice
- Drive Global Project Integration into sites and local project execution to ensure realization of value in plant by driving adoption of existing/future solutions.
- Monitor site Operations and collect site vulnerability data and develop plans within the site to address vulnerabilities
- Interface with Sector Digitization/Innovation Leaders Site Masterplan; Anticipate & communicate future needs & innovation opportunities to Sector Leadership & Service Lines
- Drive delivery of innovations ideas leveraging services, reapplication or develop new solutions
Qualifications:
Leadership – Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a 'start?up' type environment. This role will play a big part in fine tuning this new role and identifying the work processes and business processes necessary to ensure Operational Excellence in a Plant environment.
Service Operations – Experience managing applications and infrastructure components in a production environment. Demonstrated track record of managing continues improvements to service including developing the scorecards necessary to measure successful operations. ITIL Foundation Certification would be beneficial.
Application & Integration – Ability to maximize value through best in class IT Strategy for application lifecycle at the site and region/sector driving governance, user experience, application integration to drive value and productivity for manufacturing and supply chain.
Collaboration/Vendor /Partner Management – Ability to work effectively in a highly matrix organization where boundaries are sometimes unclear. Works well across teams functions, and organizations and is seen by others as a strong team player. Successful track record of building strong working relationships with all levels of leadership and respected as the expert in their field in the plant environment.
IT/OT Infrastructure Subject Matter Expertise – Good understanding of IT infrastructure with a strong desire to improve an expertise that is now recognized as a critical skill in the new IT career model. This includes NT servers, Networking, Firewalls, Voice, Mobility and Personal Computing.
Manufacturing and Supply Chain Subject Matter Expertise – General understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes with ability to quickly develop deep expertise.
IT Security & Risk – Proficient level of awareness is required.
Financial and Budget Management – Ability to manage the E2E Region/Sector IT Budget.
Project Management – Proven ability to successfully deliver medium to large projects.

Desired Skills & Experience:
-Bachelors / Masters in a quantitative degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technologies etc.)
-Previous work experience of minimum 2 years
-Experience in leading IT Portfolio with clients and handling external partners
-IT experience in Supply Chain and/or Network solutions is a plus
-Demonstrated success in effective leadership, problem solving and priority setting
-Strong English communication (presentation, written, and listening) skills
-Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work within diverse organizations and teams
-ITIL Certification is a plus
