Your goals
You act as the linking pin between SAM, IT departments, Procurement and Finance and maintain relations within those departments.
You investigate and understand the contracts and license metrics on the Oracle products.
In close cooperation with your counterparts in the IT departments and global ING entities you gather information regarding current and future license consumption, usage and costs.
You validate the required data on completeness and correctness and take actions where necessary.
You calculate and report license consumption vs. entitlements to management on a monthly basis.
You initiate actions to make and keep processes and reports audit proof.
You align with our SAM tooling engineers to ensure these tools are up to date for the vendors license discovery and metrics calculation.
You monitor technology innovations, assess impact on Software Asset Management for your vendor and take necessary actions to follow up.
Who are you
Minimum Bachelor Degree in computer science, business or engineering with minimum 3-5 years relevant experience (possible background in accountancy or procurement).
Knowledge of software contracts and detailed knowledge of software metrics and policies from Oracle on all product categories (like Database, Middleware, Apps etc.).
You have good understanding of IT and concepts like virtualization, capping, etc.
You are used to work with large data sets and perform analyses on the data.
You are a team player and able to cooperate with colleagues from different parts in the organization like IT engineers, Architects, Procurement Officers etc.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM, Oracle Enterprise Manager, SAM tooling Aspera Smarttrack and Inventory Tooling IBM BigFix is a pre.
