NASDAQNasdaq Position Overview: NASDAQ in Copenhagen is looking for a student to assist our sales and development team working with the Danish fixed income market. The student position offers a unique opportunity to work in the center of the Danish fixed income market – and an opportunity to work in NASDAQ, a world leading exchange operator. Fixed Income Denmark is commercially responsible for all NASDAQ related activity in the Danish fixed income market, i.e. primarily listing and trading of bonds listed on NASDAQ in Copenhagen. This responsibility includes customer relations to all bond traders and to issuers of government bonds, mortgage bonds, structured products, corporate bonds etc. Furthermore, it includes development of our services aimed at these customers. In recent years, we have also increased our efforts in fixed income derivatives products such as mortgage bond futures, repos, CIBOR, FRAs, swaps, etc. Creating and maintaining internal statistics and management reports for the Danish/Nordic fixed income markets Various administrative tasks, e.g. invoice calculations, etc. Handling customer & investor requests for information etc. Website related administrative tasks regarding bond information Ad hoc tasks Different types of analyses of the fixed income markets, e.g. analysis of changes in trading patterns, trends for listed products, etc. Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications: Studying for a Master of Finance, Economics or similar with at least two years to graduation. Nordic language in fluent and business level English both written and oral Experienced user of MS Office and a general high level of IT understanding To suit this position you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are self motivated, analytical, you have a good head for figures and you have the ability to assume responsibility on own initiative.
