Job Description
You will be working in the Balance Sheet & Solvency team at ING consolidated level. This team is responsible for analysis and forecast of ING’s global balance sheet, RWAs and solvency. An important part of the team’s work is to provide value-adding advice on these subjects, helping our stakeholders (amongst which Management Board Bank and ALCO Bank) to realize INGs strategic and financial objectives. The team also provides insights in balance sheet and solvency for e.g. funding- and liquidity planning and firm wide stress testing. You will contribute to the various products and activities of the team and act as a Finance ambassador towards other functions.
Your work environment
The team is part of the Group Finance / Management Accounting & Advice department, which services top level management from the heart of the Finance organization and has to be able to quickly deal with a great variety of subjects. The Balance Sheet & Solvency team is a small team of Finance professionals, all with their own area of expertise but able to cover for each other.
Given the department’s role and stakeholders, values such as flexibility, taking ownership and quality control are clearly embedded within the culture of the department. Working in the Balance Sheet & Solvency team requires interaction with many stakeholders including (local and central) Finance, Capital Management, Risk, Investor Relations, Bank Treasury and Business.
Your profile
You are an experienced all-round Finance professional who is motived and able to contribute to the Management Accounting & Advice role at ING Group level in the area of balance sheet, solvency, funding and liquidity. You have a good understanding of Bank products and balance sheets, of liquidity and funding and of RWAs and solvency. You have a network within ING or are able to develop it. You are able to leverage your knowledge, analytical skills and your network to develop meaningful insights quickly and translate them into sound and convincing advice. You are a team player who enjoys taking on new challenges and can quickly change gears when needed.
