Internal Communications
Its role is to inform, engage and connect employees in order to drive their motivation and capabilities to execute complex tasks through (action & direction) access to relevant information (timely distributed and appropriately channelled) and a variety of activities that drive an enjoyable and sustainable environment to work, meet, share and learn.
Scope of the role:
Implements the Internal Communication strategy within assigned Business Line, Function or Support Organization.
Role Specific Competencies:
Develops, gains and maintains a detailed knowledge of the Business Line in order to inform effective delivery of the communications strategy.
Within the specificed Business Line, delivers the internal communications strategy that supports ASML’s corporate and business objectives.
Defines key messaging with stakeholders.
Results and outcomes-driven: incorporating KPI measurement including engagement, commitment and satisfaction scoring.
Sets up and attends regular routines and ad hoc meetings with highest rank in the Business Line (Excom level and Management Teams).
Manages and maintains ownership of internal communications planning and deliverables for pre-approved Business Line-related work.
Contributes to the further development of employee communications strategy and plans.
Drives awareness, understanding and engagement with the company’s Business Priorities throughout the Business Line’s employees.
Designs and implements Business Line initiatives to support and enhance corporate-wide programs (e.g. Quality, Operational Efficiency, Fit for the Future, Ethics).
Enable employees to provide feedback to management through formal and informal channels – facilitate employee ‘platforms’ for conversations, collaboration and communications amongst Business Line employees.
Supports appropriate content generation for Senior Management and All Employee Meetings and other ad hoc events.
Coordinates specific employee communications initiatives and supports the Business Line Management Team in driving and cascading strategy and action down through the organization.
Development of tactical campaigns that incorporate key calendar events and milestones. This includes the internal communication of financial results.
Gathers and manages Business Line news proactively, liaising with editors for timely publication across relevant channels.
Communicates major changes in the organization (examples: BL re-organizations, company strategy, acquisitions, etc.)
Communicates change issues sensitively and in line with legal guidelines.
Supports Business Line-related reward and recognition activities.
Attends monthly meetings and pro-actively collaborates with other IC Business Partners to ensure cross sector alignment of strategies, messaging and communications programs (and applies best practice).
Ongoing evaluation and refinement of campaigns, strategies and messaging.
Identifies barriers to effective communications.
