a Senior Principal Finance Advice IBSS
In the department Planning & Advice CS / IBSS, we are looking for an experienced finance professional who acts as a strategic business partner for the global functional management of ING Business Shared Services (IBSS), a legal entity established to incorporate ING’s global service organizations. You will assist in and advice on designing and implementing the target operating models, functional tactical and strategic initiatives, including approval by Change investment Committee and MBB and embedding financial consequences in financial forecasts and objectives. You will act as primary central finance contact for financial issues related to IBSS. Furthermore, you will act as sparring partner and back up of your department colleagues who control the corporate staff departments. The controller IBSS reports into the head of the department.
Knowledge & Experience
You have in depth knowledge and understanding of the activities of IBSS (IT, DevOps), and of banking and financial services in general. You have experience with complex modelling and analytics, and you have worked and communicated with senior level management. You are considered an expert leader in your area. In your career, you have gained broad experience in financial accounting, management accounting, tax related issues etc.
The preferred candidate will have minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, preferably in a banking, service or IT environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
You will be the primary central Finance contact for IBSS Board, local (GSO) CFO’s, CFO COO and other relevant in- and external stakeholders.
You will contribute to the setup of the Finance TOM of IBSS, ensuring compliance with ING governance, policies (e.g. accounting policy, hedging policy, SoX, capital policy).
Responsible for initiate the design and maintenance of the planning and control framework.
Responsible for performance analysis, you will coordinate and build RFC / MTP and you will pro-actively provide advice to the board IBSS on financial trends
Responsible for expert business advice: you are a true and acknowledged sparring partner of the business MT on tactical and strategic issues
You will act as sparring partner and back up of your colleagues in the department.
