Tasks:
As Researcher, you will work with complex and challenging and interesting projects. Your competence and knowledge will be applied in many different areas and you will independently solve problems by utilizing your theoretical skills as well as your acquired experience.
In this position, you will also work to enhance our business related contacts and relationships as well as define and participate in new projects. As part of Corporate Research you will find unique development opportunities. You will have the privilege to collaborate with experts specialized in different technical areas, both within and outside ABB. Requirements:
You hold a PhD in Automatic Control, Signal Processing or similar with deep knowledge and interest in mathematics, statistic and data mining. You are interested to apply your knowledge to solve complex problems in industrial applications and processes. You are quite comfortable with Matlab, Simulink, Statistical toolbox and are familiar with other programing languages such as R, C# etc.
Your personal skills are of crucial importance in this role. You are an independent and driven, innovative and curious team player with high integrity.
Your Proficiency in verbal and written English is a requirement, whereas knowledge in Swedish and German will be counted to your advantage.
