RambollInternship in International Project Management Job Description Ramboll offers a six-month internship in International Project Management in our Global Practice Environment and Health. We are working with international projects implemented for the major international financing institutions (IFIs) and Donors such as the EU, EIB, EBRD, AfDB, ADB, World Bank, UN, Danida etc. We work primarily within the environment, waste and energy sectors conducting: Feasibility studies International development and capacity building activities Technical assistance and supervision projects Support to Investment facilities Environmental and Social Impact Assessments Your responsibilities as an intern The daily work will be at the Ramboll Head Office in the Environment and Health Division where you primarily will support the consultants of the Department for International Project Management. Your work as an intern will include a broad range of activities, e.g. support to our project management and sales activities, preparation of expressions of interest and technical proposals for international tenders. In addition, you will visit one of our international projects and/or daughter companies thereby gaining valuable cultural understanding and practical experience with the wide variety of aspects related to international consulting services. You and your competencies You have a Bachelor's degree and are studying for a Master's Degree, preferably in the fields of environment, climate change or energy at a recognized higher education institution in Denmark, EU or Nordic Countries, where you are among the top students. In addition, you have the following qualifications: Strong analytical and organizational skills with capacity to handle many tasks at the same time Strong interest in environment and energy related matters Strong interest as well in future work as an international consultant or working on behalf of international financing institutions Willingness to learn and work in team, and in possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills High academic credentials (equivalent to minimum Bachelor level) Prior international experience is an advantage Fluent oral and written English is essential. Russian or other languages are a strong advantage but not a precondition. The location will be at the Ramboll Head Office in Copenhagen S located next to the Ørestad Metro and Train stations. Ramboll will cover the expenses of the visit to one of our international projects or daughter companies. Please note that this internship is reserved for students enrolled in an educational program (throughout the duration of the internship, i.e. up until and including February 2018). Thus, we do not accept candidates who are not yet enrolled in a master’s program or who have already graduated with a Master's degree.
