Job Description Our Product Management organization is expanding globally and we are seeking a regional Product Manager for our Financial Management product team in UK / Ireland, to focus on the Italian market. • Do you have 10+ years work experience in a finance or accounting role? • Do you possess broad ERP knowledge of AR, AP, cash and related financial functions such as Record to Report, Order to Cash or Procure to Pay? • Have you worked on product localization before in a functional leadership, auditor, program/project/product management role, or as a consultant? • Are you passionate about building software products that excite users? Software that enables users to spend less time consolidating data across different systems. That requires minimal training and is very user friendly without sacrificing functionality and compliance. We want your expertise and regional knowledge to contribute to building tomorrow’s best of breed finance system! Our global Product Managers are the regional product representatives for our customers, partners and the global product management team. Global Workday PMs are in charge of the regional expansion of our global product portfolio. They ensure that our core finance product meets local compliance standards and regulations. As a global Product Manager, you will combine your operational and systems knowledge to analyze customer business processes. You’ll use local regulatory and business requirements to define functional designs and collaborate with Software Engineering and the global PM team to turn functional specifications into next-generation business applications. Your responsibilities will include gathering and qualifying local requirements, creating presentations, and at times, supporting your regional sales and services teams. If you are • Solutions- and customer success-oriented • A fast learner, detail oriented, and decisive • Someone who enjoys a fast-paced work environment • An initiative taker, a self-starter and comfortable working autonomously • Familiar with the American business culture If you have • Passion and ideas for how to build better financial enterprise business applications • Consulting, product/project or program management experience • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of financial processes for Italy and regulatory requirements • The ability to work well across regionally distributed teams to get things accomplished • BS/BA, MS/MA degree or equivalent work experience • Fluent English and French skills essential.
