Smiths GroupJob Description Reporting to the Regional Business Manager and in line with the sales strategy, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Smiths Medical products to develop the reputation and the turnover of the company. The territory covers Flemish part of Belgium. Duties & Responsibilities Actively perform, support and participate in all forms of sales activities and promotion, provide services to existing customers and prospects, assist other account managers and sales assistants as well as in all other activities that improve the sales results. Work in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager in all daily operational business issues. Work in close collaboration with the other Account Managers and Clinical Trainer. Propose sales budgets by region in volume and in sales by product and by institute and realise these after approval of the Regional Business Manager, in agreement with the general marketing and sales strategy, as described by the management of Smiths Medical. Plan and perform customer visits at existing customers and prospects and visit all members of the decision-making unit according to the agreed business focus and sales touch time targets. Report by visit the discussed and agreed matters in E-Synergy, as well as agreed follow up and next actions, developments, competitors etc. Compose and follow up quotations, contracts and prospects. Take co-responsibility for customer payment. Keep prospect lists up to date in Pipeline. Manage the assigned demo units. Supervise deliveries of placed equipment orders, especially with new customers and/or new products. Organize training for the users. Actively build up and maintain external relationships with members of the target group. Signalize market developments. Read and keep up with relevant sales and clinical literature, as well as product related literature. Signalize and stimulate clinical research in consultation with the Product Managers and dependant on need and budget. Propose/stimulate/support and participate in congresses, meetings etc. Respect, preserve and improve of the Quality Management System and ISO certification within the Sales Department of Smiths Medical. Manage and take the commercial end responsibility for all sales related businesses with existing customers and prospects, which are agreed as account and territory. Achieve/exceed agreed sales budgets. Required Skills and Experience University Degree (BA degree) preferred. Sales experience in the health care industry an advantage with knowledge of the main hospital/home care stakeholders. Preferably medical background in anaesthesia, intensive care nursing or oncology. Comfortable in presenting technical products. Representative personality with good communication skills. Result driven, entrepreneurial mindset and capable to work independently. Native Dutch (Flemish) and excellent command of English in speaking and writing.
