Hill International is seeking to employ for its office in Istanbul:
Accountant Executive
Follow-up daily workflows of receipts, invoices and bank transactions
Process accounts payables daily workflows. Ensure that all invoices, payments are correctly prepared, authorized, posted
Process accounts receivables and cash collection from direct customers, including close follow-up with clients, accounts reconciliation, monitoring of payments in due terms and follow-up of overdue and disagreement
Declare entrances and dismissals/resignations of the employees to the Social Security Institution (SGK)
Submit manning reports to the Turkish Employment Agency (??KUR)
Coordinate all tax related issues within the company
Optimize processes in tax calculation and preparation in order to meet deadlines
Prepare and declare provisional/advance taxes, VAT and VAT-2 and Stamp Tax returns, Quarterly Advance Tax, Withholding tax returns, Corporate Tax and BA/BS forms
Follow-up all changes in Tax Procedure Law, Codes and Regulations and apply all required tax implications in required processes i.e. e-invoice procedures, BA-BS statements, management reports in coordination with the current Certified Public Accountant
Prepare employees’ payrolls
Make salary payments and other compulsory transactions
Provide clear communication between the related departments
Create smooth and timely information flow/reporting to Finance Director for relevant matters coming out of inside & outside contacts
Perform and supervise the other accounting and administrative-related projects when assigned
Follow-up the official/accounting requirement of parent company
University degree in related fields (i.e. Accounting/Economics/Finance)
Minimum 5-10 years of accounting experience.
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Good understanding of Turkish accounting system and tax regulations
Good communication skills and strong team-player who is also self-motivated
Highly competent with MS Excel, MS Word
Strong analytical skill and detail result oriented
Accounting ERP knowledge is preferably
