Objectives and responsibilities: The position of Accounting Assistant for our European Subsidiaries reports to Group Accounting Manager and will be based in Aarhus, Denmark. Your primary objectives are as follows: Responsible for controlling and administrating our subsidiaries in Europe. Administrating and Controlling Salaries Maintaining of our European Holiday System (Purely HR) Responsible for Fixed Assets – prepare and reconcile depreciations every month Responsible for all VAT Reporting Contact person for auditors in our subsidiaries Europe Responsible for the process around Financial Year End in our subsidiaries Controlling the Financial Statement as per Year End Responsible for maintain our Masterdata on our companies Responsible for the reconciliation/settlement of all intercompany Global every month Responsible for the invoicing our Transfer pricing invoices Global every month Helping to assure that processes and internal instructions are followed Core professional skills and personal competencies: Proficient in English, both verbal and written Strong communication skills in writing Working efficiently and able to meet deadlines. Prepared to make an extra effort when needed Interested in learning new subjects A good sense of business, analytical with strategic awareness Able to work in an international team and having respect of cultural differences Experience in working with IT-tools including MS Office and BI-tools Required education: Relevant education in economics, e.g. M.Sc.
