Application Manager (Expert) (m/f)/ GTP In Center
Your journey will take you into our global research and development team in Bad Homburg, Germany. Here, we can count on your extensive market knowledge, your expertise and experience in the application of medical equipment as well as your know-how in the field of usability engineering.
Your assignments
To develop both innovative and user-friendly products which fulfil the high demands of all stakeholders in an intensive, ongoing exchange with a wide range of interested parties.
As a specialist regarding the subjects of usability engineering, validation, system view and compatibility, you will assist the front-end innovation process as well as new product developments.
In doing so, you will operate in interdisciplinary teams and assist them in establishing a team culture, decision-making within the mandate (time, cost and quality) and boosting the team’s success by bringing in your expertise.
You will manage the measures to achieve compliance with the requirements of the usability-oriented development process: From the analysis to the design and implementation through to the evaluation and market launch as well as the subsequent product lifecycle.
You will support the development of operating concepts and the creation of development documentation etc.
At the same time, you will monitor and assess, amongst other things, the results of validation studies and procedures (e.g. formative and summative evaluation).
You will support and assist the requirement engineering process with regard to product requirements.
You will contribute to the development of product information (e.g. IFU, SM, terminology) and will be the driving force behind the flow of information and knowledge transfer between your team and the market units (incl. training and licensing of training centers, clinical management).
You will also participate in the maintenance process when it comes to issues of usability and requirement engineering including system validation and quality optimization.
You will be involved in panels and standards committees, and attend specialist meetings, management reviews and quality assurance meetings.
You will be in direct dialogue with users, physicians, opinion leaders and engineers to share product and treatment-specific knowledge.
You will be the central contact for the market interfaces regarding product and process-specific issues. In order to be able to meet this demanding challenge, you will maintain close contact with the user groups in the dialysis centres and clinics. You will analyze the different requirements of the physicians and specialists in nephrology - and do so at international level.
Last but not least, you will provide additional input and assist the ongoing optimization process of methods, tools and procedures in the field.
Your profile
Successfully completed university degree in the field of natural sciences, engineering or economics and/ or Human Factor Engineering
Alternatively, vocational training in engineering or nursing with several years’ professional experience; specialization in the field of nephrology and/or medical technology desirable
Very good knowledge and experience in the field of medical technology and IT
Basic medical knowledge required
Basic knowledge in the field of acute dialysis desirable
Very good knowledge of project and process management
Good knowledge of usability and requirements engineering
Good knowledge of presentation and moderation techniques
Very good knowledge of English and German, spoken and written
Strong IT user skills, incl. in MS Office, Lotus Notes and databases
High level of delivering quality and results
Independent, structured, systematic and analytical way of working
High level of excellent communication and strong negotiation skills
Ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility
Willingness to travel
