Business Development Manager - Clinical Trials
We are a well-respected and expanding medical information/ pharma company who provide both medical and pharmaceutical related services across three diverse business streams. Due to significant growth plans, we are employing an experienced Business development manager. Initially reporting to the General Manager, this is an opportunity to expand and grow the Clinical Trials Services we offer. This position will be responsible for planning and executing an external sales plan. We invite applications from experienced business development professionals ideally with significant experience of clinical trials.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for planning and executing an external sales plan
* Work closely with other managers on sales strategies based on market research and competitor analyses and execute sales plans based on those strategies.
* Align partner activities with internal marketing, commercial, financial and operation teams.
* Record and monitor ongoing sales activities and produce sales metrics reports for the General Manager.
* Provide primary support for preparation of proposals and presentations.
* Assist the General Manager in the review of the MSA (Master Service Agreement) and SOW (Schedule of Works).
* Promote and maintain open channels of communication during proposal negotiation.
* Conduct sales follow-up and order closing with customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
* 5 years + sales experience with demonstrable sales skills, ideally gained in the clinical trials sector of the pharmaceutical industry.
* Ability to travel to new and existing client sites as needed to meet objectives.
* Ability to interact in a professional, positive, and diplomatic manner with clients and co-workers.
* Strong project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
* Outstanding verbal and written communications skills including presentation experience
* Strong negotiation skills
* Ability to think ahead and plan strategies that will be the foundation for profitable growth.
