Job Description
Tasks:
•Develop and implement communications programs and messages including marketing communications, publicity, editorial support, web content, and direct marketing to educate and inform key stakeholders including customers, management, employees, trade media and interest groups,
•Ensure executional excellence throughout the area of responsibility for all communications measures in line with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines and global strategy,
•Actively recommends and contributes to cross-Business Unit/Division communications projects. Advises on communications programs and supply channels to maximize cost efficiency and minimize overlap among businesses,
•Implement agreed communications plan applying all effective media and supervises or manages production and supplier relations,
•Support key management with personal communications materials including presentations, speeches, articles, and employee recognition,
•Website content management (creation and maintenance of pages) based on content provided by departments and/or coordination with the agency,
•Marketing of content via social media and marketing automation tools,
•Management of social media properties (posting, responding to posts, monitoring, moderating), and/or coordination with the agency,
•Ensuring compliance with ABB web and branding guidelines and best practices.
Requirements:
•University Degree (preferably in Communications, Public Relations, New Media, or related fields of digital communications),
•2 – 3 years related experience in communications or digital media, in a web focused environment,
•Excellent command of written and spoken English,
•Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, especially Power Point presentation) and understanding SAP,
•Web editing skills, web usability, analytics, SEO, technical understanding of how the web works,
•Working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and other Adobe CS software, working with various digital media formats (images, video),
•Digital marketing and communications knowledge, social media skills,
•Excellent coordination, communication and presentation skills, and customer-mindedness,
•Flexibility and self-learning,
•Technical & customer oriented, hardworking and analytical,
•Positive and professional attitude,
•Reports to the Country Communications Manager.
Additional information:
Candidates are asked to have good knowledge of Turkish
language; where usage of Turkish language is mandatory.
