Who are we looking for
In ING head office, the Group Finance department Planning & Advice Corporate Staff departments / IBSS is looking for finance professionals who act as a strategic business partner for global functional management of corporate staff departments such as Finance, Risk, Treasury, Strategy, Communications, and executive and management boards. You will assist in and advice on designing and implementing their target operating models, functional tactical and strategic initiatives, including approval by Change investment Committee and Board and embedding financial consequences in financial forecasts and objectives. You are a member of the MT of the corporate staff departments in your scope. The controller CS reports into the head of the department.
Knowledge & Experience
You have in depth knowledge of and understanding of the activities of corporate staff departments and of banking and financial services in general. You have experience with complex modelling and analysis, and you have worked and communicated with senior level management.
The preferred candidate will have minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in finance advice, preferably in a banking or corporate environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
· Responsible for contributing to design and maintenance of planning and control framework.
· Responsible for performance analysis, and you will help build the RFC / MTP and provide advice to the relevant MT on financial trends
· Responsible for providing Finance advice to the relevant MT: you are a true and acknowledged sparring partner of the MT on tactical and strategic issues.
· You will be acting as sparring partner and back up for your direct colleagues.

Education
Master degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration.
