Job Description
BACKGROUND
The Murex team consists of 6 teams of +/- 8 people (5 teams in Amsterdam, 1 in Singapore). The team works according to the agile/scrum development methodology. The objective of the Global Murex team is to set-up Murex as the global Front Office system for FXO, FX, and MM products. Every scrum team is responsible for both changing the system, and supporting the system (DevOps model).
TASKS
Gather business requirements and translate those into Murex solutions
Configuration / development of the Murex system
Create user guides and provide training / user demos where needed
Functional-, user acceptance, and performance testing
Support & improve the Murex system
SELECTION CRITERIA
Generic skills
University level education
> 6 years experience with configuration/customisation of Murex Front Office
Fluent in English, both written as verbally
In-depth understanding of configuration of the Murex FX and MM Front Office modules.
Working in projects (support experience is good; project experience is a must)
Thorough understanding of IT, e.g. SQL (Sybase), Linux, Shell scripting, PERL
Functional consultant
