The Job
As Engineer Technician in the Laboratory, you will support products development activities through the operation of multiple measurements and process tools complying with quality and regulation specifications or requirements.
You will also support a variety of projects by performing lab activities described in protocols/requests studies leaded by study directors.
More specifically, you will:
Conduct multiple measurements and process tools as per assignment.
Maintain records and make observations according to established procedures to ensure pertinent project related information is properly documented.
Improve and apply learned technical guidelines in order to guarantee that techniques and processes are carried out with a high degree of reliability.
Operate electronic, mechanical or computer systems.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Identify and prevents hazards which could result in injuries or accidents.
Organize multiple task assignments to ensure that data are generated and reported within the optimum timeframe.
Produce and assemble product prototypes.
Produce repeatable results through the application of consistent efforts applying given instructions and report in an adequate format, results and progress on tasks performed.
Maintain good and friendly relationship with colleagues and workers in Manufacturing environment.
Teach and supervise temporary employees in tasks of responsibility.
Provide reliable testing on agreed timing.
Adhere to the Quality Systems and ensure GLP(Good laboratory practices)/GDP (Good documentation practices) compliance.
Reliably carry out procedures in an accurate and repeatable manner.
Be compliant with the EHS and 6S rules in laboratory areas. Responsibility for the prevention of health hazards in the workplace, and for responding to the needs to correct safety hazards.
Review results in lab notebooks and in any form of data handling system as required by established procedures.
Who you are
Knowledgeable in laboratory practices and procedures as well as in materials used in the particular area of assignment.
Expertise in Laboratory functional/Mechanical and plastic material testing
Able to read and understand scientific documents in English
Able to communicate and interact with colleagues and study requestor in English
Ability to design/draw (CAD software, preferred Pro E)
Bachelor in Chemistry, Electromecanic, Science, etc.
