Do you want to join? For our Support team within Equipment Development, we are looking for a dedicated Engineering Technical Supporter. The Equipment Development department is a part of a newly established Onshore Logistics organization within Wind Power. The department is responsible for the entire equipment process; from development and retrofit of equipment, to order handling, delivering, receiving, inspecting and maintaining outbound, transport, installation and service equipment to our onshore wind turbines. Equipment Development is based in Brande and currently employs approx. 70 employees. What are my responsibilities? As an Engineering Technical Supporter you will be responsible for supporting the entire fleet of transport and lifting equipment in operation. The support will be throughout the lifecycle of the equipment, with means performing updates accordingly in regards to process optimization and safety. In addition to this, direct support to the users of the equipment. More specifically your main tasks will be: Preparing the technical dossier and structural verification report in regards to the updates of the equipment Reviewing written demands and purchase specifications for transport and lifting equipment Seeking insight into design calculations (Finite Element Modeling (FEM)) in connection with support inquiries Carrying out stress analyses on existing, adapted and new components Answering questions from suppliers as regards welding, NDT, surface treatments etc. Carrying out load evaluations and construction analyses (static, dynamic etc.) in connection with support inquiries What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a technical background, e.g. as a production technologist or within engineering/mechanical engineering You have experience with constructional drawings and/or the design and construction of transport and lifting equipment You have experience with Finite Element Modeling (FEM) and knowledge of Euro codes, DNV, GL and IMO standards as well as EN 13155 and EN 12195 standards You are self-driven and result-oriented and a committed colleague motivated by rendering customer service You thrive in a multicultural environment and have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
