Job Description
- Establishes and drives key value chain processes (Value Stream Mapping, S&OP/Integrated Business Planning, inventory management, accounts receivables, accounts payables).
- Ensures the inventory planning local governance processes are properly integrated within local units
- Drives value chain optimization by building strong cross-division partnerships with stakeholders such as
Operating Units and Local Product Group managers, local Supply Chain Management managers etc.
- Coaches and leads the deployment of inventory management best practices globally.
- Establishes, supports and maintains inventory management processes and guidelines across all units in line with Group/Division/Business Unit instructions.
- Contributes to Division level value chain initiatives relating to project execution such as Project Controls etc.
- Coaches and trains local units in developing detailed gap analyses across the value chain and provides solutions to reach expected customer service levels at optimized inventory levels by utilizing value chain assessment methods on a regular basis
- Support and help lead lean deployments and improvements with and on behalf of the Opex Leader.
- Develops, communicates and implements together with the responsible line manager the Value Chain strategy in alignment with Product Group / Business Unit strategy
