The Misys Payroll Operations team is responsible for administering the payroll function, consistently delivering to high quality standards and working to inflexible deadlines. This group sited in Bucharest will service the payroll for three out of the four Misys geographical regions, namely Europe, Middle East & Africa, and The Americas. The Role The role holder is responsible for coordinating payroll data collection, its processing by Providers, the verification of output, and delivery of salaries and other dues to the relevant parties, e.g. employees or Tax Authorities. The role includes the upload of payroll cost data to Misys' General Ledger database for financial reporting. Responsibilities & Deliverables: As Head of Payroll your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Delivery of accurate and timely payrolls for all territories, in which the combined Misys/DH organisation operates, ensuring proper controls are in place and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation Support the integration of D+H and Misys payroll processes Managing the payroll team based in Bucharest as well as payroll professionals located in India, France and North America Managing third party payroll providers ensuring value and service delivery and escalating issues as required Managing global payroll costs against budget Responsible for cash-flow forecasting of payroll and payroll related costs and liaison with Treasury on funding requirements Ensure consistent application of global payroll processes across all territories and entities Continue to sharpen the payroll control environment Supporting the delivery of ad-hoc projects Skills/Requirements Qualifications: Payroll experience 7 to 10 years Experience in managing teams in multiple locations Experience of multi-country payrolls - a definite advantage Fluency in English is essential - other languages an advantage Overview of HR Operations processes an advantage Adaptability to sustained workload pressure Payroll qualifications represent a plus Our Application Process: If you meet the basic requirements for this position, a recruiter will contact you within 7 business days.
