As a key member of the team, the QA Intern is responsible for ensuring software quality through continuous involvement in the software development process. You love testing and youre game with collaborating with a distributed development team to create products that solve real-world problems. You will learn how to: Work as a member of an agile software development team; provide test effort estimates; provide timely validation of new features and functionality during each development iteration Assist in end-to-end test plan execution for new product release Develop, maintain and execute manual test cases during the development stages Help to determine the degree of regression testing to ensure successful product releases Collaborate with software developers and customer support engineers to identify, document and resolve product defects Contribute to ongoing efforts to refine and improve the company's test methodologies, software development processes, and internal testing tools It's great if you have: BS/BA in Computer Science in progress A natural curiosity and attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Ability to focus on deliverables and meet scheduled deadlines Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and business functions quickly Basic proficiency in a UNIX/Linux environment High proficiency in a Mac/iOS environment Good knowledge of Web technologies Strong communication skills, verbal and written It is even better if you also have: Experience working in an Agile development environment Test automation experience
