Duties & Responsibilities others may be assigned
? Effectively sell Hologic’s sales message to all customers in the targeted territory
? Actively support territory sales goals by maintaining core business, increasing usage, and prospecting new customers
? Develop accurate monthly sales forecasts
? Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for assigned and acquired products as required
? Effectively insulate accounts against competition and regain lost customer accounts
? Develop and execute business plans for targeted accounts
? Keep abreast of local billing and reimbursement issues
? Effectively interact with all relevant personnel to effect conversion to Company products/technology
? Manage time effectively; prioritize and make good business judgments and decisions in relationship to efficiency, effectiveness while meeting daily call expectations
? Partner with marketing department to support the development and execution of marketing programs and sales materials
? Attend local and national professional trade shows and events and promote products to all customers
• Update and synchronize all relevant customer account information daily
• Represent the Company at trade association meetings to promote products
? Perform other duties as required
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:-
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Demonstrated track record of success and sales accomplishments
? Minimum 3 years minimum proven sales experience in the healthcare business
? Past experience working with OBGYN’s preferred
? Proven revenue success at managing key accounts including proficiency in forecasting and working towards sales plans
? The ability to successfully develop long term relationships with key decision makers and customers
? Proven team-player possessing the ability to adapt quickly in a growth-oriented environment
? Experience in developing and presenting sales-related material to a variety of audiences using multimedia platforms
? Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, communication skills
? Flexibility with a strong work ethic and personal integrity based on a high value system
• Able to work co-operatively with others within and across functions towards a common objective
• Ability to take action, think ahead and act on future opportunities or problems
• Determination to overcome obstacles and to deliver what is required
• Proven proficiency in computer literacy i.e. Internet etc and MS Office – Outlook, Excel Word, PowerPoint etc
• Resource aware i.e. where to go to find answers
• Demonstrated ability to successfully perform in an environment of multiple changing priorities
• Ability to interface and work effectively with all levels of the organization, vendors, customers, etc
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and with other team members in a cooperative manner.
