ClarcorRequisition Number 16-0236 Post Date 5/25/2016 Title Market Manager Polymer Organization Purolator Advanced Filtration Group City Sprimont, Belgium Description Role purpose • Drive top line revenue for the polymer business in EMEA (Fiber, Film, and Recycling/Resin Production). • Increase PAFG’s market share in EMEA and develop key customer relationships. Accountabilities • Revenue and profitability goals for PAFG EMEA – Polymer Market • Manage network or agents and distributors in Polymer markets in EMEA • Reports to EMEA Sales Director Critical success factors & key challenges • Develop business for polymer markets via sales and marketing efforts with customers in region that will ultimately achieve regional business unit sales and profitability objectives. • Responsible for roughly €3-5 million market. • Performance management with polymer market specific third party agents and business development with distribution partners. • Be responsible for full channel profitability and manage profitable growth. • Customer relationship building / management through on-site customer calls. • Other key responsibilities include important administrative elements, including the submission of call reports, reporting the monthly sales forecast in a consistent and timely manner. • Provides monthly and annual forecast input for group financial team. • Marketing (Identify opportunities to advertise or participate in fairs / exhibitions and identify needs on extra efforts on publicity/documentation. • Strong technical aptitude to understand engineered products as well as customer production methodology. • Prefer polymer (fiber, film, or resin production) industry experience. Requirements Critical experience and skills • Master degree in engineering, sciences or bachelor with relevant (equivalent) experience • Minimum 5 years outside technical sales experience. • Up to 40% travel through EMEA. • Widely trusted, direct, truthful and credible by showing consistency between words and actions. Abides and upholds all laws and regulatory requirements. • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities; work extended hours when required, make sound decisions under pressure, and work effectively in a team environment. • Fluency in Dutch and English.
