Position Summary: The Marketing Manager - CONCOMITANT AF Therapy & LAA Management, International will be responsible for the downstream marketing strategy and tactical execution to drive adoption and growth in concomitant franchise amongst cardiac surgeons and specialists in these fields The person in this role is accountable for working with stakeholders across the business, including Sales, Distributors, Marketing, Clinical, Operations, Finance, and Quality Systems and Regulatory. Roles and Responsibilities: Own the downstream marketing strategy and tactical execution to drive growth in Concomitant AF Ablation & LAA Closure franchise across international Increase competitive share Increase awareness and adoption of Concomitant AF Ablation & LAA Closure Lead development and execution of actionable targeted regional marketing programs, campaigns and plans across franchise to ensure the profitable growth, market adoption and competitive conversions of the portfolio. Provide weekly and quarterly summaries of performance against objectives to marketing management. Provide quarterly action plans to sales to aid in prioritization and planning In line with upstream marketing, develop sales support tools, sales messaging tools, and collateral assets that allow regions to grow market-share and ensure sales excellence Own communication strategy for concomitant AF Therapy & LAA Management ensuring regular action based communication to field and internal stakeholders Generally, act as a product knowledge expert and champion for the ablation products franchise Partner with Clinical Director to develop and implement quarterly clinical awareness communications for the field to support procedure adoption and clinical awareness goals Develop and implement product (launch) go-to-market plans, working with all departments to execute successful product launches and ongoing support to achieve sales performance goals Partner with field sales leadership, sales teams and corporate office to execute targeted marketing strategies and campaigns to support procedure and product launches Monitor the competitive landscape and communicate internally to relevant stakeholders Develop and maintain knowledge of competitive products & services to promote AtriCure vs. competition and develop selling tools, and competitive comparisons to drive customer preference Coordinate with sales on a regional level as needed to roll out new sales and marketing programs and initiatives Develop and implement the company’s marketing activities at key surgical conferences, including symposia speakers and booth presence. Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers and influential thought leaders within the industry and specific geography of specified territory with specific emphasis on establishing long-term relationships between cardiologists and cardiac surgeons. In conjunction with sales, strategic analysis manager and marketing, develop action plan for AF Therapy & LAA Management referral campaign with clear milestones, resource requirements, required investments and expected results to increase concomitant procedure adoption. Provide tools to help move programs forward from planning phase to implementation through needs assessments, audience determination and planning goals Collaborate with relevant internal departments to advance the marketing agenda, and ensure that marketing programs are executed as planned BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in marketing, biomedical engineering, or a related field Minimum of five (5) years successful medical device marketing or related experience in the cardiovascular field Excellent communication and English skills Willingness to travel extensively Ability to influence functional teams without formal authority Builds and nurtures relationships internally and with external customers Hands-on and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: MBA or advanced degree Medical device experience, especially cardiac surgery, Atrial Fibrillation or cardiovascular Experience with international organizations and customers ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Physical or mental qualification requirement – i.e. walk, sit, stand, bend, push/pull, lift (how much), travel %): Travel 20-35% domestically and internationally
