Your role
You will work in the commercial organization of Lighting in the Benelux. You will directly support the Management Team of Lighting in line with the strategic objectives of the organization. Driving new business development process and opportunities, including enabling M&A and alliances. You will help to transform our business from product selling to solution selling.
Your responsibilities
Drive the New Business Development planning process, monitor status and manage the pipeline
Drive inorganic growth through identifying and enabling M&A and strategic alliances
Drive insight through market analytics: develop innovative approaches and business intelligence systems on emerging industry trends
Identification and strategic analysis of New Business Development opportunities for the Benelux Market
Support profitable growth through in-house consulting projects: you will guide and participate in New Business Development initiative(s).
Take the lead to create significant growth via Adjacencies and Break Away business for Lighting, leveraging the strong ability to capture value in the Benelux market
Act as a strategic thought partner for Philips Lighting Benelux, creating continuous awareness of NBD as key strategic growth pillar.
Interact with a large variety of in- and external stakeholders across Philips’ Lighting organizations, including the Business Groups, Business Innovation Units and Research and Innovation Services, as well as with 3rd Parties (start-ups / industry) to capture the opportunity on hand
Benchmark NBD approach and learn from other companies
Your team
You will report directly to the Commercial Director in the Benelux for Professional Lighting and closely cooperate with the General Manager and Finance Director. Furthermore you will work closely with Sales and Marketing next to financial support teams.

5+ years of experience in a commercial organization, preferably in new business environment
Bachelor/University degree preferably in Finance, Business administration or business economics

Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills
Being able to manage a team/ manage stakeholders
