job Description
The Process Engineer Final Assembly is the owner of the assembly processes in the final assembly area in the plant. He is responsible for the investment related to these processes.
His goal is to produce efficient and safe quality products at the lowest possible cost. The Engineer has the full responsibility of the preliminary study to the full implementation of the projects and acts in this project as lead.
Key responsibilities:
Sets the standard for components and tools related to screw operations, bonding and assembly of rubber components.
Is the technical reference for the site when it comes to these processes.
Is responsible for the technical / economic (payback) assessment of the projects.
Shall, together with the maintenance engineer preventive maintenance and TPM instructions. (TPM: Total Production Management).
Contributes to the development and cost estimate of new products, changes to existing products, changes in production processes, equipment and methods.
Explains CAR programs and executes according to plan as they are approved. (CAR: Capital Approval Request).
Is responsible for ensuring that purchased or changed installations comply with current safety regulations.
Is responsible for continuous improvement and ensures that the produced components to quality requirements.
Is responsible for the continuous pursuit of stable constant process parameters, reduce variation and ensures that the produced components to quality requirements.
Monitors the safety of operations and improve where necessary.

Good knowledge of Dutch, fluent in English
