An exciting opportunity to work for Fry Housing Trust to deliver `Springboard` A suite of structured programmes for women offenders in Coventry and Solihull.
Fry Housing Trust are recruiting a Programme Coordinator for a fixed term up until end of April 2018 to cover a period of maternity leave. This service is funded by Staffordshire and West Midlands Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) to meet the needs of the female offenders on their case load.
The successful person will be part of small team to deliver 4 specifically designed programmes which are focussed on self-esteem, emotions management, boundaries, communication skills and healthy relationships awareness among others.
As a Programme Coordinator you should have rich experience in working with offenders and/or vulnerable adults. This is a vital role for the growth of our organisation and continuing to raise the profile on support for female offenders and in Coventry and Solihull.
You will be working with a complex client group to promote and deliver the Springboard programmes to meet the needs of these women and help them build the skills to move away from a life of crime. You will be responsible for achieving clear outcomes using strengths based approach through facilitating discussions and activities in a group setting. You will also be required to deliver the programmes one to ones where deemed appropriate.
We are looking for someone confident at running groups with a complex client group; you should understand the criminal justice system and have knowledge of diversity and equality in the work place.
