Quality Assurance Manager
Due to current demand for our products and the success of our business we are looking for two enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals who really want to make a difference and is passionate about delivering the highest quality standards to customers and consumers alike.
The QA Manager roles will work on opposite shifts 10am to 10pm on a 2 2 3 shift pattern (working 7 days out of fourteen). However a flexible approach to the shift pattern may be required at times.
The QA Manager reports to the Technical Manager and will manage the QA team. It is essential that the successful candidate has experience in a similar role in a chilled food environment, is proactive in the maintenance of the Quality Manuals and the continuous improvement of the department, is able to play a key role in professional and customer audits, and has excellent communication and people management skills and a proactive and flexible approach.
You should have experience in a similar role in the food industry with particular knowledge and experience of working in a high care food environment.
You should have established experience of people and performance management as well as experience of implementing HACCP and BRC standards. You should have excellent computer skills and be able to use on-line reporting systems, customer specification systems, etc.
You should hold a food safety qualification and you must be able to build good and proactive relationships with your team and the wider production team across the business.
You should have experience of ‘thinking on your feet,’ good organisational and analytical skills and microbiological sampling and investigations. You must be an excellent communicator with good English and computer skills and have a continuous improvement approach.
