Beyond these countries we also deliver through distributors to several other locations. Job Description We are looking for a professional and driven Regional Sales Manager, with a high affinity for healthcare, to join our dedicated Sales Team in Denmark. The Regional Sales Manager is primarily responsible for directing and managing the activities of the Territory Managers including the accountability for achieving sales numbers in the Regional Sales Region and interfacing and negotiating national contracts with executive level customers in both a hospital and commercial setting. The Regional Sales Manager manages the Territory Managers and reports to the Director Field Implementation. It is preferable for you to be based within the Copenhagen area, but it's not a limiting factor. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Management Direct and manage the Territory Managers in achieving the sales targets in the Sales Region Plan regular one-on-one catch-ups with the Territory Managers to help with current issues and to ensure proper coaching, training and leadership Set work objectives for each of the team members and be able to measure their progress Establish specific measurable goals to provide a clear base for employee recognition, and staff development Acquisition & Relation Management Arrange appointments and keep strong relationships with executive and senior physicians, personnel and decision makers in the purchasing departments Join Territory Managers with visits to key decision makers Employ activities in the field for 4 full days a week Coordinate planning and implementation of conferences, meetings and other events for customers and prospects Coordinate development and maintenance of customer database Coordinate and execute pretender work and establish strong relations with tender boards and other parties involved Managing contracts Manage price setting negotiating and finalizing contract agreements with new prospects Manage business review process Field research & developing strategy Manage the monitoring of competitor activity and competitors' products Manage new developments in National Health Service anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategy accordingly together with the Director Field Implementation Plan in conjunction with the Director Field Implementation how to approach contacts and creating effective business plans for making sales in the Sales Region Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector in conjunction with the Director Field Implementation Qualifications Bachelor's/university degree level At least 5 years of experience with surgical device sales, clinical development with a sales background in the Operating Room 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position and proven track record Excellent oral and written communication skills in Danish Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Good knowledge of MS office and Windows based computer applications Experience in an international environment is preferred Personal skills/ Competences Inspires trust within the team, is a tactical thinker and communicates with a high impact Leads by example and provides concrete guidance and continuous learning opportunities to the team Additional Information What we Offer: A challenging position within a fast growing, dynamic and innovative company in the medical device industry Extensive training in Applied Medicals products and sales methods at our training facilities in our European Head Office Good remuneration package International working environment Company Culture Our belief is that everyone can make a difference.
