Our Risk Management Department is currently seeking a Risk Officer.
The department’s mission is to:
Guarantee the management of risk within Generali according to the risk operating model framework.
Measure, analyse and monitor the overall risk profile in line with Generali’s risk appetite framework and provide a comprehensive view on Generali overall solvency needs.
Management of the current Actuarial platform Life.
Define local policies and guidelines for all risks and monitor adherence to risk guide.
Define and manage the ORSA Process.
Act as second line of defence of underwriting, pricing, new product development , reinsurance, strategic planning, ALM, SAA, pricing, reinsurance.
Zorgen voor de integratie van het interne model in het systeem voor risicobeheer van de maatschappij.
Zorgen voor de kwantitatieve evaluatie en follow-up van de risico's en van de waarde via het uitvoeren van strategische studies en van reportings die voldoen aan de noden van de directie, en tenslotte.
De directie de mogelijkheid geven om het kapitaal op een optimale manier toe te kennen door een minimalisering van het solvabiliteitskapitaal en door een maximalisering van de waardecreatie.
Your tasks are to:
Measure, monitor, mitigate and report the components of the Risk Capital models.
Support the Implementation of all the approved Model changes with respect the local governance – Maintain and improve the Actuarial Platform – Provide model solutions to our inner customers (Business and Risk Management).
Support the definition of local guidelines for U/W Risk and monitor adherence to U/W risk guide.
Support Enterprise Risk Management to define, measure (stress testing, sensitivity and back testing analysis) and mitigate the own life risk profile for ORSA purposes by using the Generali Life actuarial model.
Support Business to comply with operational limits.
Support Enterprise Risk Management with planning process.
Help to identify the necessary inputs for the purposes of strategic studies and various reports (SII regulatory and internal reports).
2nd line of defense of underwriting, pricing, new Life product development , reinsurance considering impacts on risk capital and limits by giving risk advice.
Participate in disseminating the risk culture within the company.
As our ideal candidate you:
Have a university degree in the field of maths, physics or actuarial science or are an engineer.
Are quantitative in approach with a high practical intelligence.
Are proactive, dynamic and deadline oriented.
Are quick to adapt and operate as a genuine team-player.
Have a good knowledge of Dutch or French and given the international contacts, you are able to understand English and to draft reports and write emails in English.
Knowledge of SAS is an asset.
